It all started in 2014, when international adventurer, Paul Niel, convinced Swiss Banker, Phil Angst, to join him on a 3,000KM journey from the south to the North of India in an auto-rickshaw, or tuk-tuk. Three other members then joined to make the final team of five: Sofia, a Chilean Journalist, Claire a Hong Kong teacher and Tom, an Australian video producer.

The team wanted to use their journey to make a positive social impact, selecting an Indian NGO focused on improving education and opportunities for girls in India, ‘Educate Girls’ as their focus. The journey took the team through slums, schools and to the Educate Girls head office, all with the focus of better understanding the challenges faced by girls in gaining an education.

Narrated by the amazing Tania Rodrigues, this documentary will take you on an a journey from lush green forests to dusty deserts as we learn just what educational challenges face girls in India.
